Seri ke 3 dari Resident Evil ini, bercerita di mana Perusahaan Umbrella Corporation sudah tidak dapat lagi mengendalikan penyebaran T-virus. Seluruh dunia telah terinfeksi virus tersebut dan populasi manusia telah berubah menjadi populasi zombie.
Alice (Milla Jovovich) bersembunyi di padang pasir (yang dulunya adalah Amerika Serikat). dari kejaran pihak Umbrella Corporation untuk dijadikan percobaan dalam membuat vaksin T-virus. Alice berusaha kabur dengan melewati padang pasir di daerah Nevada. Di tengah perjalanan, Alice menemukan buku yang isinya menimbulkan tanda tanya besar. Di buku tersebut tertulis bahwa terdapat satu wilayah di daerah Utara dekat Alaska, yang tidak terinfeksi virus. Kemudian, Alice bertemu dengan teman-teman lamanya, Carlos Oliveira (Oded Fehr), dan L.J. (Mike Epps). Carlos dan L.J dan beberapa orang lainnya.

Series 3 of the Resident Evil to it, telling the Umbrella Corporation in which the Company could no longer control the spread of the T-virus. The whole world has been infected with the virus and the human population has been turned into a zombie population.
Alice (Milla Jovovich) hiding in the desert (which was formerly the United States). Pursuit of the Umbrella Corporation to serve as an experiment in making T-virus vaccine. Alice tried to escape by crossing the desert in Nevada. Along the way, Alice finds a book whose content is highly questionable. In the book is written that there is a region in northern areas near Alaska, who is not infected with the virus.
